A Living Archive of Experience

Handcrafted, original artwork

These original paintings are a study in visibility, exploring the depth and complexity of the modern lived experience. Each piece is handcrafted with a focus on reclamation—centering diverse narratives across race, gender, and expression to create a space where every identity is honored with permanence.

By blending classical influence with contemporary truths, my work seeks to bridge the gap between history and a more inclusive future. These are more than portraits; they are an intentional celebration of the human spirit in all its forms.

Marta is an exploration of intuition, born from a room in total darkness. With the curtains drawn and the lights extinguished, this piece was created in a space where sight was secondary to feeling. There was only enough ambient glow to discern the faint borders of the canvas and the pre-organized map of pigment on the palette.

The Essence

By removing the ability to see, I removed the ability to doubt. This process was an exercise in radical creative freedom—there was no room for second-guessing or mid-process critique. The name arrived with a sudden, near-audible clarity during the final moments of creation, personifying the work.

"A divine gift of light and color born in the dark—much like the resilience found within us all."

Artist’s Note

This work represents the most free I have felt while painting. It is a record of the exact moment the analytical mind fell away, leaving only unfiltered expression. It stands as a testament to the beauty that persists when we stop looking and start feeling.

Core Elements:

  • The Process: Blind-painted to ensure raw, gestural authenticity.

  • The Theme: The intersection of internal light and the surrender of control.

  • The Aesthetic: Bold, decisive color theory and high-energy texture.

Lady Achilles is a visual meditation on the blurred lines between traditional gender archetypes. Inspired by the strength and tragedy of the classical hero, this portrait reimagines Achilles as a masculine woman, challenging the modern tendency to view "masculine" and "feminine" as warring opposites.

This piece explores the deep interconnectedness of these energies, suggesting that they are not separate entities, but rather the very core of one another—a truth often overlooked in contemporary society.

The Essence

The palette is a serene composition of soft whites and marbled light blues, echoing the cool, timeless texture of ancient stone. The blending of these colors reflects the fluidity of the subject’s identity, where the hardness of the "statue" meets the softness of the soul.

"A celebration of the femininity within masculinity and the strength within the soft—the harmonious core of our most robust selves."

Artist’s Note

I created this piece to honor the complexity of the human spirit. Lady Achilles stands as a guardian of balance, encouraging the viewer to embrace the full spectrum of their identity without apology. May she guide you toward your most authentic, healthy, and integrated self.

Core Elements:

  • The Subject: A powerful, masculine female figure inspired by Greek antiquity.

  • The Palette: An ethereal blend of marble blues and luminous whites.

  • The Philosophy: A rejection of the gender binary in favor of holistic, interconnected energy.

Transfemme is a vibrant celebration of identity, captured through a lens of both strength and softness. This piece emerged as an intuitive exploration of gender euphoria, utilizing an unapologetically bold color palette to mirror the courage required to live authentically.

The portrait serves as a study of the "delicate balance"— the harmony between soft, ethereal features and the striking, definitive presence of the subject.

The Details

In this work, traditional markers of beauty are redefined. I chose to highlight the subtle, graceful curve of the Adam’s apple and the refinement of her features, treating them as integral elements of her divine femininity. The use of high-saturation pigments reflects an energy that refuses to be dimmed or diminished.

"She is a testament to the power of self-definition—a portrait of a woman carved out of light, color, and a soul-deep resilience."

Artist’s Note

This piece holds a profoundly personal significance for me. Transfemme isn't just a portrait; she is a presence that has occupied a special corner of my heart since the first stroke of the brush. While she has found a permanent home within my soul, it is time for her physical form to find its place in a home where her light can truly shine.

Core Elements:

  • The Contrast: A fusion of delicate linework and explosive, fearless color.

  • The Subject: An intimate, reverent depiction of the trans feminine experience.

  • The Energy: Radiant, proud, and deeply emotive.

History in Color Original
$1,800.00

History in Color is a vibrant reimagining of classical antiquity, breathing new life into the stoic grace of a marble bust. This piece bridges the gap between the ancient world and contemporary expression, transforming the cold permanence of stone into a fluid, living celebration of pigment.

It serves as a playful dialogue between the past and the present, where the structured elegance of traditional sculpture meets the uninhibited energy of modern abstraction.

The Aesthetic

Rendered in the signature Rae Wilde Art color palette, the work features a rich, blended spectrum that dances across the contours of the subject. By replacing the monochromatic white of marble with a kaleidoscope of hues, the piece strips away the "museum dust" of history and replaces it with a fun, modern vitality.

"A bold iteration of classical elegance, proving that history is never just black and white, it is a vivid, evolving spectrum."

Artist’s Note

This painting was born from a desire to democratize "high art." I wanted to take the symbols of prestige and tradition and saturate them with joy. History in Color is designed for the space that values the sophistication of the old world but lives for the bold, saturated energy of the new.

Core Elements:

  • The Style: A seamless fusion of classical realism and neon-infused impressionism.

  • The Palette: Signature Rae Wilde colors—bold, blended, and meticulously curated.

  • The Vibe: Sophisticated yet approachable; a statement piece for the modern collector.
